  • Human bones (skulls, femurs, hips, etc) formed into a famnily coat of arms at the Kostnice ossuary (Bone Church) in Kutna Hora in the Czech Republic. This somewhat macabre display is formed into the Schwarzenberg family coat of arms and uses most of the human skeleton in one piece.
  • At the Sedlice All Saints bone church in Kutna Hora, a display of skulls is surrounded by donations of various coins. The walls surrounding the skulls are made of various bones from legs and arms. A scary image for Halloween.
  • Six human skulls are piled on top of each other in a ossuary (or bone church) located in the Czech Republic. A scary image for Halloween!

The history of the castle stretches back to the 9th century (870) and it has been under construction in one form or another since then.
