Sunrises and Sunsets

Sunrises and sunsets provide some of the most amazing colors. This gallery showcases several images that I find to be remarkable for the clarity and simplicity of the profile or silhouette that is created by facing the sun such as the fried-egg view of a Mexican sunset that I was privileged to watch. Other images are interesting for the story that they tell about that time of day like the mountain climbers waking up at dawn.
