  • The main door to Karlstein Castle in the Czech Republic is covered with ornate iron decorations in a traditional and functional style with crossing iron straps providing additional strength. The door kncoker is centered in the middle of the door.
  • Karlstein Castle was the country seat for King Charles IV of Bohemia and the Holy Roman Empire. This shows the main castle tower; a fortress with walls ten feet thick.
